The Secrets to Success in Stats, According to Students

Jessie from Spring II's online course has a great idea of collecting student comments from term to term on secrets of succeeding in this course. Because discussion board comments won't roll over from term to term, we needed a spot where students could contribute. I think a blog is among the easiest way to do that.

Your comments are voluntary and they will be on the open web. Feel free to post anonymously or under a nom de plume. Here is what I would love to know and what I think students would love to know (but you can post anything respectful and constructive).

1. How many hours do students really need to spend to pass? To do well?

2. What are the tools that students should really not miss out on?

3. Are there extra hints that are helpful?

Thank you!
